I’ve spent the majority of the past decade writing digital learning during the day and writing plays, screenplays, and immersive theatrical experiences at night.
In 2013, I received my MFA in Writing for the Screen + Stage from Northwestern University. Since then, my plays have been developed at a number of Chicago theaters.
I also self-produce. Alongside a few of my former classmates, I started a producing playwrights collective called Living Room Playmakers. Together, we wrote and produced 11 sold-out productions that all took place in unconventional theatrical spaces. Most recently, we produced a multimedia experience in a three-story salvage warehouse. Audience members followed the narrative through a radio-broadcasted audio journey juxtaposed with live performances.
My superpower is my collaborative spirit. After years of writers workshops, I’ve learned how to give clear and succinct feedback. I’m energized by the ideas of others, and motivated by a shared collective goal.
