In 2013, I took a contractor content producer position for a boutique company in Chicago that creates custom video, audio, and interactive content for a wide range of clients. In my seven years at Noggin Labs (now owned by global services firm Ernst & Young), I wrote and developed digital learning content for clients as far-ranging as tween retail brands to U.S. Soccer Federation to JPL—where we interviewed the space industry’s brightest engineers and captured their processes in an interactive video library.
My position as a senior content producer demands a full array of project management skills including client ideation and creative collaboration with multiple members of the production team.
Taking a job in digital learning turned into a career that transformed my writing and my approach to dramatic storytelling.
